During that time, he reached out to the skateboarding community through social media and asked for donations through his Venmo to help cover his expenses.
Thankfully, Bill is doing much better now.
His condition has improved, and his family has already started organizing fundraising efforts to help with his ongoing medical costs and recovery.
Now, the Skateboarding Hall Of Fame and Museum is joining in to support Bill in a simple but meaningful way.
Throughout the month of August, the organization will donate $10 to Bill for every Skateboarding Hall Of Fame book that is sold.
Buyers will also receive a 300 plus page book, five different cover options to choose from, free stickers, and fast shipping, making it an easy way for the skateboarding community to lend a hand while picking up something special for their collection.
The Skateboarding Hall Of Fame and Museum shared the following announcement:
"Books for Bill! For every SHoF book we sell in August we will send @billdanforthskates $10.
