French DJ and producer Kavinsky has died at the age of 50.
Kavinsky, whose real name was Vincent Belorgey, was found dead at his home in Paris on July 28, just days before his 51st birthday.
The cause of death has not been confirmed, with an investigation still underway.
News of his death brought tributes from across music and culture, including French President Emmanuel Macron, The Weeknd, and others.
Skate legend Daewon Song also shared a personal message for Kavinsky on social media:
“Your music will live on forever brotha.”
Kavinsky was best known for his electronic sound and his 2010 track “Nightcall,” which became widely recognized after appearing in the 2011 film Drive.
