Despite all the hate from the core community saying he has no style and no pop, Mystery Skateboards still believed in Jeff DeChesare and awarded him a pro board.

As we previously reported, pro skater Paul Rodriguez called out the new generation of skaters for lacking style with flip in and flip out tricks, saying they skate like robots.

Although he never named anybody, all the core heads were pointing to Jeff, Ginwoo Onodera and other up and coming skaters that have been doing too many flips.

But Jeff never gave up despite all the hate he has been receiving and continued putting out clips, winning skate contests and making sure that his sponsors were all getting more awareness with his help.

As a result of his hard work and determination, Mystery promoted Jeff to the pro ranks.

Jeff DeChesare posted:

"It’s hard to put into words on how it feels to have my name on a board with one of my all time favorite brands but it is surreal to say the least. I’ve been skating @mysteryskateboards since I was a teenager (peep the clips on slides 6 and 7 from 2007 and 2011). I always thought the black and white theme was super sick. Something about it grabbed my attention that other brands couldn’t. Fast forward 20 years and it is a trip to be skating for them! Grateful to be part of a team with my friends, excited for the future 🙏 📷 @bertofilms

My boards are available now, click the link in my bio if you’re interested in purchasing."

Congratulations to Jeff on reaching this point in his career. We at ShreddER are happy to see his hard work pay off, and we look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next with Mystery.
