TikTok skater Bby Yoshando is stepping up to defend pro skateboarder Jeff Dechesare, who’s been catching a lot of heat in the skateboarding world.

Dechesare has been getting criticized online, with some skaters calling him “no pop, no style,” and others joking that he skates like a robot.

As we previously reported, pro skater Paul Rodriguez made some comments about the new generation of skaters, saying that a lot of them lack style and creativity.

While P-Rod didn’t call anyone out by name, the skateboarding community immediately started speculating about who he meant.

For many, Dechesare came to mind because of his heavy use of flip-ins and flip-outs, which some people feel is overdone.

That’s where Bby Yoshando comes in.

The TikTok star, who has built a reputation for his skateboarding clips and commentary, decided to speak up in Dechesare’s defense.

Bby Yoshando says the criticism is completely unfair and that Dechesare has mad skills that people should recognize.

He pointed out that Dechesare handles big gaps with confidence and control, which takes serious talent.

Bby Yoshando admits he doesn’t know Dechesare personally, but he feels it’s important to separate the person from the performance.

From his perspective, Dechesare deserves respect for what he does on a skateboard. He’s not just doing the easy stuff, he’s taking on challenging tricks and pulling them off consistently.

It’s interesting to see someone like Yoshando use his platform to support another skater, especially in a community where opinions fly fast and criticism spreads even faster.

For now, the conversation around Dechesare continues, but there are plenty of skaters and fans who see the skill and dedication behind Dechesare's steeze, even if some people disagree with his style.
