Pro skater Jeff DeChesare has officially taken the top spot at the 2025 Kimberley Diamond Cup, bringing the title home to the United States and giving New Jersey fans plenty to celebrate.
His run stood out from the start, and he kept the crowd locked in all the way through. On top of winning the main event, he also came out on top in the best trick jam, adding another highlight to an already huge moment in his career.
DeChesare shared his excitement online, thanking friends, supporters and the people who helped make the trip unforgettable. He showed a lot of love to Jean-marc Johannes for inviting him and believing in his skills, and he made it clear just how much the entire experience meant to him.
From South Africa showing mad love to the whole crowd going off, it all came together in a way that’s sticking with him for a long time.
He also gave props to the other skaters who landed on the podium. Congrats went out to Khule Ngubane for second place and Alex deCunha for third.
The women’s division brought in impressive performances as well, with Orapan Arwen Tongkong taking first, followed by Boipelo Awuah and Madalena Galante.
The New Jersey native made sure everyone got the recognition they deserved, pointing out how much talent was on display throughout the event.
