Street League Skateboarding has just released their new "I Love Cops" skateboard deck collection, and it’s already getting skaters doubt if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

The decks come with a gnarly message: show a little love to the police and skate without getting hassled.
Skateboarding has gotten a lot more organized and corporate over the years, and some skaters feel like the raw, f*ck you attitude part of skating has disappeared.
With these decks, SLS seems to be trying something different.
The idea is simple.
If a skater is carrying one of these boards, law enforcement might give them a break while skating spots around town.
The decks feature the "I Love Cops" in a hearty red branding, making it obvious which side you’re on.
Core skaters have mixed reactions online, with some finding it funny and others calling it controversial.
No matter what people think about the concept, SLS wanted to create something that would make people stop and talk.
Whether it ends up being a gimmick or actually changes how skaters are treated by police remains to be seen, but for now, the decks are out there and ready to be ridden.
