If you have a collection of old skateboarding videos on VHS, you know the feeling of popping in a tape and hearing your VCR chew it up.

All those tricks, all those sessions, suddenly trapped in a mangled strip of tape. Luckily, Dead on Arrival has a how-to video, and fixing it is usually doable with some patience and a few basic tools.

Here Are The Items You’ll Need:

  1. Small Phillips precision screwdriver
  2. Scotch tape
  3. Scissors
  4. Razor blade
  5. Spare VHS tape if you have one, in case you need parts
