Donations that people had already sent were returned straight back to the senders, and the team was left without access to the funds that had been collected.

There was no explanation given at the time, which left supporters confused and concerned about what would happen next.

On top of that, the team is still dealing with another serious problem.

Skateboard equipment and related supplies have not been able to enter Gaza for around three years due to import restrictions.

This has meant that local activities have been paused for a long time, and young skaters have had very limited access to the gear they need.

Even with these challenges, the Gaza Skate Team continues to look for ways to keep things going.

They recently shared an update explaining that they have created a new fundraising page on a different platform after the GoFundMe closure.

They told supporters that donations can now be sent through the new link shared on their profile. The message was direct and focused on keeping the effort alive so that support can still reach the team and the children involved.

The group also spoke to the people whose donations were returned.

They explained that the intention behind every contribution still matters deeply, even if the funds did not go through the first time.

They described each donation as a gesture of care for children in Gaza, and encouraged supporters to try again using the new page if they are able.

The team shared why they continue to seek support. Children are still waiting for equipment and activities to return.

With no steady supply of skateboarding gear entering Gaza, many of their programs remain on hold. This has left a gap in daily activities that the crew has been trying to fill whenever resources allow.

Supporters have been asked to stay connected and help where they can.

The skaters believes that even small contributions can help bring back some structure and activity for the children involved, especially after such a long period without access to basic equipment.

Right now, the focus is on rebuilding support through the new platform and keeping the program active despite ongoing limitations.

You can donate now on their chuffed page here.

"🔴 Very important news for our loyal followers

As you know, our GoFundMe account was suddenly closed, and all donations were returned to their senders without prior warning or clear reasons. This has happened recently to many humanitarian campaigns for Gaza.

But we have not stopped, and we will not stop.

✅ Today, we created a new account on a different platform.

We are now accepting donations through the new link in our bio.

—

💚 A message to donors whose donations were returned:

You did not lose us, and we have not lost your trust.
Your previous donation was a message of love that did not arrive because of the platform closure, but it will remain a debt in the hearts of Gaza’s children.

We ask you to return and donate again through the new link.
Every dollar will remain a child’s memory, and every donation will restore hope for an entire team.

—

🛹 Why do we insist on continuing?

Because our children are still waiting.
Because skateboarding equipment has not entered Gaza for 3 years.
Because our activities have stopped, and dreams are on hold.

With your support, we continue. Without you, we face our hardest times.

📢 Share the post. Comment ‘done’. Help us reach others.

📌 New donation link in bio."
