Pro skateboarder Nyjah Huston has shared an update after another recent hospital stay connected to complications from his fractured skull injury last year.

People around skateboarding have been following his situation closely since the original injury, and many have expressed concern about how serious head impacts can be in skating. Even though injuries are part of skating life, this situation has brought more attention to safety, especially when it comes to big handrails and high impact tricks.
Some fans have also been talking about helmet use, especially after hearing about the recent incident. Nyjah has previously said he prefers not to wear one while skating in street settings, which has added to ongoing discussion within the skate community.
For now, reports suggest he is doing okay and taking time to rest after leaving St. Joseph’s Tacoma Hospital. He also expressed gratitude toward the doctors and hospital staff who helped him during this latest scare.
At this point, he is back home and recovering, with supporters hoping he stays healthy moving forward and avoids further head injuries.
