Demmy Campbell announced that she has taken on the role of U.S. Ambassador for the Gaza Skate Team, working alongside community organizer Rajab.
Her focus will be helping the group find donors, organizations, skateboard brands, shops, and local communities that can assist with its plans for children in Gaza.
Rajab currently runs a youth program serving roughly 60 children with only five skateboards available.
The group is seeking $8,000 to help create a recreational space and community skatepark where the kids can have a dedicated place to skate and spend time together.
Campbell is also looking for assistance with getting skateboards and equipment into Gaza.

She is seeking contacts within humanitarian organizations that may be able to provide guidance on shipping, supply coordination, and the requirements involved in getting equipment into the region.
Her outreach also extends to skate shops, brands, and individuals throughout the U.S. who may want to organize fundraisers or benefit events. Campbell specifically mentioned Montana, where she hopes local communities and skateparks may be interested in hosting an event for the project.
The effort is not limited to financial donations. Campbell is asking people to share the Gaza Skate Team's work, introduce the project to skateboarders and brands, and offer useful contacts that could help with the practical side of supplying the program.

She acknowledged that transporting equipment into Gaza will take time and require careful coordination. For the people involved, the goal is to give local children access to skateboarding and a safe recreational environment.
Anyone interested in helping can find the donation link through the Gaza Skate Team's Instagram bio or contact Campbell directly. She is also encouraging people to tag skateboarders, shops, and brands that may want to get involved.
