Santa Cruz Skateboards' professional skateboarder Fabiana Delfino has officially confirmed that she is no longer riding for Etnies.

She shared the news herself in a short and direct post that left little room for speculation.

“I no longer ride for Etnies. Thanks to all. Peace & love.”

As previously reported, Delfino joined Etnies on September 28, 2023, following her departure from Vans Off The Wall.

At the time, it felt like a fresh chapter, with Delfino aligning herself with one of skateboarding’s long standing footwear brands under the Sole Technology umbrella.

Skaters were quick to notice her presence in Etnies shoes, and it seemed like a solid fit on both sides.

Now, about two years later, that relationship has come to an end.

No further details were shared alongside her post, and Etnies has not released a public statement as of now.

The announcement was brief, calm, and to the point, very much in line with how skaters often handle sponsor changes.

With this update, Delfino is currently without a skate shoe sponsor, making her a free agent when it comes to footwear.

That opens a lot of options. She could link up with another established brand, try something more independent, or ride without a shoe sponsor for a while.

In skateboarding, all of those paths are common, especially for skaters who have already built a strong name for themselves.

For now, it looks like Delfino is keeping things low key and moving forward on her own. Fans will no doubt be watching closely to see what shoes she shows up in next, or if she chooses to stay unsponsored for the time being.
