Just a few weeks after being involved in a serious car crash, skateboarding legend Daewon Song is back doing what he loves.
As we previously reported, Song was injured after a woman driver allegedly ran a red light, causing a collision that left him with a dislocated left shoulder and whiplash.

While the accident was serious, skaters were relieved to learn that he avoided life-threatening injuries.

Now, Song is already back on his skateboard, and the skateboarding community has been excited to see him rolling again.
Seeing him land tricks so soon after the crash has given fans plenty to celebrate, especially considering the injuries he suffered.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Song posted a clip of himself landing a kickflip and wrote:
"Me getting this kickflip over the weekend was beyond healing ❤️🩹💪🏽///. Much love everyone! @adidasskateboarding"
He also gave fans an update on how he's feeling, saying:
"I’m doing a lot better! Neck brace was only necessary for skating just to be safe! I can function without it but there’s still some pain 😅🙏🏽. Love all of you!!"
The update quickly caught the attention of core heads, with many happy to see him recovering well.
While he's still dealing with some pain, it's great to see him back on board and enjoying skating again.
For someone who has inspired generations of skateboarders with his creativity and consistency, seeing Song rolling away from a clean kickflip after everything he's been through is a welcome sight.
