Bam Margera’s former partner has raised concerns in a court filing as part of an ongoing custody dispute over their 8 year old son, Phoenix.
The filing responds to Bam’s request for joint legal custody and increased parenting time, with the ex asking the court to keep the current arrangement in place.
According to reports, she claims Bam has not been as present in their son’s life over the past several months.
She states that out of 48 available weekends where he was allowed supervised visits of up to four hours, he only showed up on a small number of those days, and only once stayed for the full allotted time.
A major part of the filing focuses on concerns about decision making around the child. She alleges that Bam gave their son a roll on product from his cannabis line called “BAM THC.”
The product is described as a topical cannabis item typically used for skin application and targeted relief.

She also claims he gave Phoenix a sticker that read “WRONG ONE TO F WITH” and attempted to include a smartphone in the child’s belongings when he was younger, without supervision.
According to the filing, these incidents are being raised to question whether the current custody request should be granted. She argues that keeping the existing setup would provide more consistency for their son during a sensitive stage of childhood.
The document also suggests that Bam’s push for increased custody may be linked to a recent child support ruling rather than only wanting more time with his son.

Bam has previously told the court he wants a more active role in Phoenix’s life. He has asked for unsupervised visitation and also wants to introduce his son to his wife, Dannii Marie.
His legal representative said Bam is focused on strengthening his relationship with his child.
He described Bam as a caring father who wants to be involved in a positive way. He also stated that some of the claims in the filing are being presented in a way that does not reflect the full context and are aimed at shaping public perception rather than supporting co parenting discussions.
The case is still developing as both sides continue to present their positions to the court regarding custody and parenting time.
