Reliance Skateboards faith-based pro skateboarder and Nitro Circus athlete Beaver Fleming has been going through a tough recovery after a serious knee injury that led to surgery involving multiple torn ligaments.
Fleming has been hard at work doing his thing in the streets and competing.
Recently, though, things were not good after a severe knee dislocation that required medical care and a longer healing process.
After surgery, he shared a thankful message about how everything went.
He said the procedure went very well and gave credit to Jesus Christ for carrying him through the process.
He also expressed deep appreciation for the medical team involved, especially Dr. Masi Reynolds, who guided him through the operation and recovery plan.
In his message, he mentioned Psalm 23 and spoke about trusting God through difficult moments, saying he felt supported through everything that happened in the hospital.
A couple of days later, he gave another update after being discharged. He explained that the past few weeks had been intense, with the injury being more serious than expected.
The MRI showed multiple ligament tears, but he said he was encouraged by the treatment plan that focused on rebuilding strength and supporting long-term recovery.
He also shared gratitude for his wife, who helped take care of him and their young child during the process.
He mentioned how she stayed close during difficult nights and made sure he was eating well and staying on a clean diet while recovering.
He noted that the experience changed how he thinks about his body and health, and it gave him a different outlook on healing and discipline in everyday life.
Now back home, he is continuing recovery step by step and focusing on getting stronger again while staying thankful for the support he has received from family, friends, and his faith in Jesus Christ.
