Gaza Skate Team has been trying to receive skateboard donations for a long time, but the equipment has not been able to get through due to import restrictions.
The crew says they are still waiting, but nothing has arrived so far.
As we previously reported, their GoFundMe page was also taken down without any explanation, and all donations were refunded back to the people who contributed.
That left the team without support and without a way to continue gathering boards for the children who were hoping to ride.
The team has been forced to join Chuffed since GoFundMe shut down.

On June 21, Go Skateboarding Day is being celebrated in many places around the world.
In Gaza, the situation is very different.
The skate team says there are no skateboards available at all, which means the children there cannot take part in the day in any real way.
Gaza Skate Team shared a message saying:
“Tomorrow is World Skate Day.. 🛹🌍
Skateboarders around the world will celebrate.
They will play, fall, rise, and smile. And here we are in G@za.. waiting.
Waiting for just one skateboard.. so our children can return to play, to laugh, to life.
On World Skate Day, we send our message to every skateboarder in the world:
Do not forget us.
Speak about us.
Help us return to our boards.Gaza’s children deserve to celebrate World Skate Day like any child in the world.
Share the post. Comment ‘yes’. Help us be heard.”
The message has been shared widely online by supporters, with many pointing out how something simple like a skateboard has become out of reach for the group.
Right now, the team continues to wait, hoping that boards and support will eventually reach them so the children can take part in future celebrations.
