Since then, there has been growing attention from skaters and creatives who want to see how the brand continues that direction.
Now Skateboard P has introduced a new look at upcoming footwear under Louis Vuitton.
The focus is on a skate ready shoe design that still fits into the luxury side of the brand, made for everyday wear, street use, and casual styling.
He also brought in iconic names from the skate world to be part of the brand.
Two time Skater of the Year Tyshawn Jones, who has earned recognition as a standout figure in modern skateboarding, is included as a friend of the house.

Their involvement shows that Louis Vuitton is not only looking at skateboarding from a fashion angle but also paying attention to the people who actually shape the scene.
It brings real skate influence into the design process instead of treating it as a surface theme.

The reaction online has been focused on how the design fits into both streetwear and luxury spaces without trying too hard to separate the two.
At this stage, the shoes are being positioned as something wearable in daily settings, whether someone is skating, walking around the city, or just dressing casually.
With Skateboard P leading the creative direction and well known pro skaters involved in the process, Louis Vuitton continues building its presence in the skate fashion world.
