April Skateboards’ pro skater Yuto is stepping into a new lane, and this time it has nothing to do with contests or podiums.
The two-time Olympic world champion has been officially named a House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton, adding fashion to a career that already speaks for itself.
He shared the news himself on his 27th birthday on his social media.
In his post, Yuto talked about how long he has admired LV and how meaningful it feels to now be part of the house.
With skater rapper Pharrell “Skateboard P” Williams guiding the brand as creative director, LV has been leaning into music, skating, and real street culture.
Yuto fits naturally into that space.
Skateboard P has always respected skating as culture, not just an image, and bringing Yuto into the house reflects that mindset.
He now joins fellow pro skater Tyshawn Jones, who is already connected to Louis Vuitton as a Friend of the House.
Yuto has always kept things low key.
That approach shows in how he dresses and how he carries himself in the streets, relaxed and unforced. That kind of confidence translates well in fashion, especially at a level where authenticity matters in the skate industry.
In his post, Yuto also mentioned upcoming projects with LV, hinting that this partnership goes beyond appearances. While details have not been shared yet, it is clear this is not a one off announcement.
Campaigns and collaborations are likely part of what is ahead.
At 27, Yuto is expanding his presence without changing who he is. As LV continues to blend luxury with street culture, the Olympian represents that connection in a way that feels natural and earned.
