Tony Hawk had an unexpected stop in Detroit after leaving his skateboard near the city limits by the 8 Mile sign.
Birdman posted about the missing board and turned the situation into an Eminem reference, writing, “You only get one shot… to find it, do not miss your chance to… grind it?”
Since 8 Mile is closely tied to Eminem and his Detroit roots, Hawk had the perfect setup for a little Detroit inspired joke.
And just like Eminem’s famous lyrics, Birdman was ready to make the most of his one shot.
