Instagram user @sloshedmeat isn’t your usual fingerboarder.
While most people use their tech decks to recreate skate clips or build miniature parks in their bedrooms, this guy took his Baker Skateboards fingerboard to a lake and tried to go fishing with it.
Yes, fishing.
Instead of flicking kickflips or grinding tiny rails, he stuck some bait on the deck and tossed it into the water like it was the most normal thing in the world. Just a tech deck, some string, and the hope that a fish would bite.
The setup is as weird as it sounds. It looks like he drilled into the board to tie a line, then attached some bait and lowered it into the water.
The whole thing plays out like one of those late-night ideas that somehow turns into a real project the next day.
Now, does it work?
You’ll have to watch the clip till the end to find out, but let’s just say this isn’t your typical catch-and-release situation.
Skateboarding content can get pretty serious sometimes, but clips like this one remind people to have fun with it. Even if that means turning a Baker fingerboard into fishing gear.
