A skateboarder recently expressed disbelief when he discovered his attending physician was consulting a video tutorial online just moments before his fracture procedure.
The incident, which quickly went viral on social media, has raised questions about the reliance on digital resources in medical practice and the impact on patient trust and confidence in the healthcare system.
The incident occurred at a local hospital where a skateboarder Joshua Bulman, 27, was brought in for a fracture procedure following a severe skateboarding accident.
As the medical staff prepared for the procedure, the skateboarder glanced over to see the attending doctor watching a video tutorial on a computer.
Bulman has spoken out about the surreal experience, saying he wasn’t worried about the unidentified doc’s abilities. “I just started laughing!” he declared. “It didn’t bother me or make me nervous, we all need refreshers on how to do things in our jobs, so I saw this as normal.”
“If anything, it actually took my mind off of the pain and injury in a good way,” Bulman, stated. “I needed a little laugh and I’m thankful for that moment, this doctor was simply doing her job.”
