Competitive contest skateboarder Sora Shirai wins the 2025 Tampa Pro Championship, defeating the back-to-back champion Yuto Horigome.

Shirai pulled up to the most prestigious core skate contest for the first time and didn’t leave empty-handed.

He annihilated the course with an impressive backside 5-0, 360 flip over the bank-to-bank gap, fakie backside bigspin to boardslide, frontside salad on the rail, frontside 270 lipslide, nollie backside bigspin to tailslide, backside alley-oop to hurricane grind, and his final, mind-blowing trick: a fakie 260 kickflip to back lipslide down a gnarly rail.

With all those tricks combined, the skateboarders went wild, cheering for him as he snagged the win.

Congratulations to the 2025 Tampa Pro Champion!
