Tim Pool’s upcoming Boonies Skate Night 5 has been called off after several shots were fired at his private skatepark early Saturday morning.

As we previously reported, the incident happened on the same property that has already dealt with previous security problems, raising even more concern for everyone involved.

Thankfully, nobody was injured during the shooting.

Even so, the situation was serious enough that the event could not continue as planned. With guests, staff, and skaters in mind, the team behind The Boonies made the decision to cancel the championship for everyone’s safety.

The group posted an update explaining what happened and why the event cannot move forward.

According to their statement, shots hit the property during the early morning hours, leading them to immediately increase security.

They believe the situation was targeted, which made it impossible to comfortably invite people to the skatepark for a large gathering.

Their message said they cannot bring visitors or hold public activities while the threats remain active.

They apologized to the community and expressed how unfortunate it is that things reached this point.

They also promised to share more information soon about what will happen next for The Boonies.

Fans and skaters who were looking forward to the championship are understandably disappointed, but many have already shared support online, grateful that no one was harmed.

For now, safety is taking priority while everyone waits to see how the team will adapt moving forward.
