It is official! Ryan Sheckler, one of the most respected Christian pro skateboarders in the game, has joined Zero Skateboards, the brand led by his brother in Christ Jamie Thomas.
For anyone who follows the Christian core skating scene, this move makes perfect sense.
Shecks has been a free agent since Sandlot Times Skateboards closed up and now he is back in a place that matches both his skating and his faith.

Thomas has always been real about skating and God. Bringing Shecks into Zero is not just about adding another pro skater. It is about strengthening a crew that stands on faith first.
Both of these guys live their skating for Jesus and now they are riding side by side. Their connection goes beyond skating to bending their knees to the Lord.
It is also about showing the younger generation that skating and following Christ can exist together.
The timing could not be better. With Dane Burman no longer at Zero Skateboards, Shecks steps in to bring a fresh presence while sharing Bible verses to encourage others in the Gospel.

The Christian skateboarding community continues to grow. More pro skaters are opening up about their faith and are not afraid to share how God guides them on and off the board.

This is bigger than skating. In a world full of brands and media trying to capture the attention of kids through devils, evil magazines, and satanic influences, Shecks and Thomas are holding it down for faith.
They are showing that you do not have to compromise what you believe to be part of the skate scene. Skating can inspire, uplift, and lead by example. Zero is now not just a place for shredding. It is a place that stands for Jesus in the heart of the skate world.
For Shecks this is a return to form but also a new chapter. For Thomas it is about building a crew of skaters who represent Christ while riding.
Together they are sending a message. Faith and skating belong together in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
