Zero Skateboards pro skater Ryan Sheckler is stepping back into a world that many skate fans still talk about when they think of early 2000s skate films.

The conversation around Grind 2 has been growing again, and now it looks like one of the pro skaters from the original film is ready to be part of it once more.

As we previously reported, Bam Margera was the first to speak up about coming back for the new project, and that alone got skaters talking again about what a second film could look like.

After that, Ryan Sheckler shared his own response in a video sent to writer and director Casey La Scala.

Back then, his appearance in the 2003 film was a small but memorable moment for fans who followed skate videos and skate culture at the time.

Now, more than two decades later, he mentioned that he would be open to stepping into the new film and being part of it again.

He also reflected on how much fun he had during that first appearance and how it left a lasting impression on him as a young skater growing up in the scene.

With Bam already showing interest and Tom Green also being mentioned in early talks, there is growing curiosity about how many of the original cast members might return.

If things line up, the new film could bring back an OG crew while also adding new faces into the mix.

There is still a lot that has not been shared publicly about the project, but the idea alone has already caught attention across skate communities and fans of the original movie.

People are now watching closely to see who else might join in and how the story will be shaped with both returning cast members and new additions.

Right now it is still in the early stages, nothing locked in yet, but Shecks saying he is down adds another layer of attention to it.
