Professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors, Gary Payton II, has officially introduced the 2026 team franchises for his Skate Board Association, and fans are already hyped.
The SBA’s latest announcement brings together teams and logos that reflect originality, leadership, discipline, and a championship mindset.
This year, 36 athletes are coming together with one mission.
They will be competing and collaborating under six distinct teams: Phantom, Boltz, Hustle, Dark Rush, Dragonfly, and Heelers.
Each team franchise has been designed to represent a unique identity, and the shields unveiled today are set to play a central role in the SBA’s growth.
These franchises will guide the association’s global reach while creating new opportunities for both current skateboarders and those just starting out.
The SBA is committed to doing things the right way. There is no theft, no shortcuts, and no rebuilds. What matters is execution and consistency. These new teams are ready to step into that framework and carry the association forward.
With the launch of the 2026 franchises, the SBA strengthens its foundation and provides a clear path for athletes to showcase their skills. The combination of creativity, focus, and structured leadership is designed to help each team perform at its best while contributing to the growth of the community as a whole.
Payton II and the SBA team are inviting everyone to take notice and get involved. This is a new chapter for the association, one where each team has a role to play, and each athlete has the chance to make an impact.
