April Skateboards professional skateboarder Rayssa Leal is now on the cover of Rolling Stone Brasil.
The 18-year-old from Imperatriz has been busy skating hard in the streets and winning skate contests.
From skating as a little kid wearing a tutu dress while heelflipping stairs in Brazil to standing on Olympic podiums, she keeps leveling up and still acts like the same humble girl who fell in love with her board years ago.
She already has four Super Crown titles and an Olympic medal, but this cover hits different.
It shows how far she has come, not just as a skater but as a young woman growing up in front of the world.
Rolling Stone Brasil shared a story about her childhood, saying that when she was young she saw a shooting star and made a wish to live from skateboarding and change her family’s life.
That little wish turned into real life. Now she is traveling the world, stacking wins, and still keeping her feet planted while she keeps flying across the concrete.
