Professional skateboarder Kyle Walker is showing that you can excel on the board and in other areas too.
While skating remains his main focus, he is now exploring a different field by helping businesses with payment processing.
It’s not uncommon for pro skaters to take on jobs outside the skate world.
Recently, fellow pro skater Joey Brezinski shared that he works as a postman with USPS and still killing it in the streets while working hard in his day job.

Kyle Walker is now joining this group of skaters balancing skating with other careers. He shared a post explaining his new venture:
"Skating is still my main focus and always will be.
But on my off days, I’ve been channeling that same work ethic into something new, helping friends and local businesses save money on payment processing.
It started with people close to me, and now it’s turned into helping people I meet at coffee shops, restaurants, and everyday spots.
Taking the same drive from skating into a different lane has been really exciting and a fun challenge.
What’s inspiring about Kwalks' approach is that he’s not giving up his skate career. Instead, he is showing that it’s possible to focus on skating while also building skills and helping others outside the board.
For him, the same focus, discipline, and attention that go into skating are being applied to his work with local businesses.
You already know that the path of a pro skater can be flexible.
You can chase skating goals and still explore interests and opportunities in other fields.
Kwalks is proving that a career in skating doesn’t have to be limited to competitions, sponsorships, or skating-related jobs.
You can thrive in multiple areas while keeping skating at the heart of what you do.
