As we previously reported, porn star skater Shaun Rodriguez has been working on his "Road to Pro" series, hoping to capture the grind and the ups and downs of skating life while trying to become a professional skateboarder.
Despite putting in the effort and hours on the streets, things didn’t go the way he hoped.
Momentum slipped away, and each attempt to get back on track felt heavier than the last.
The breaking point came when he seriously injured his knee.

Rodriguez was skating hard in the streets, pushing himself physically, but he finally reached a point where he couldn’t continue the way he wanted.

In a post to his fans, Shaun laid it all out, writing:
"Lost my knee, girlfriend, job, home, have a ton of medical bills, and had to move into my mom’s house at 33 years old all within a span of 2 weeks. It’s only up from here unless I die lol"
Even with everything going wrong, Shaun keeps a sense of humor and refuses to let it completely break him.
Core skate heads responded with support, cheering on his ability to stay positive and keep his head up.
While the past few weeks have been rough, Shaun’s story shows that setbacks don’t have to stop someone completely.
He might be down for now, but he’s still in the game, still figuring out how to get back to the streets, and still sharing his life honestly with the people who have followed him all along.
