Pro skateboarder Brian O'Dwyer made headlines on ShreddER top stories when he turned pro for Baker Boys Distribution's Deathwish Skateboards back in January 2024.
Core heads were excited to see him riding for the team and putting in work on their decks.
Now, just two years later, O'Dwyer has switched things up and is riding decks from Quasi Skateboards.
Quasi hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet about him joining the team as a pro rider, but for anyone who follows skateboarding closely, seeing a pro not on their sponsor's deck usually means the relationship with their old team has ended.
There could be a few reasons behind this.
He might be testing Quasi boards to see if they fit his style, or maybe his good homies in the skateboarding community hooked him up with some decks to try out.
There’s also always the chance that he’s thinking about taking a step toward creating his own brand, like other pro skaters have done after leaving their crews.
We’ll keep an eye on O'Dwyer and keep everyone updated when more details come out. Skateboarders can expect some interesting developments in the next few months, and it will be exciting to see what team he joins.
