Samsung and Street League Skateboarding are locking in for the long game.
What started as a short-term link-up last year has turned into a full-blown global partnership that’ll stretch across cities, contests, and communities worldwide.
The announcement dropped at the SLS stop in Paris, and the timing couldn’t be better with the scene growing faster than ever.
They’re teaming up to back creativity, connection, and the culture that keeps skating alive. Samsung’s been getting more involved with skateboarding since its “Open Always Wins” campaign last year, which gave skaters and fans a space to tell their stories and show how tech and skating can work together without losing that raw edge.
Now, they’re expanding that energy worldwide.
Samsung and SLS will be collaborating on events and projects that speak directly to the community. The plan is to bring skaters closer to the tools and tech that can help them create, share, and connect.
Stephanie Choi from Samsung said the partnership was always about being real with the culture and finding new ways to support creativity.
“We’re here to keep growing with the community and to show how tech can help skaters express themselves and connect,” she said.
To make it even more official, Samsung brought in Jagger Eaton and Rayssa Leal as part of Team Samsung Galaxy.
Both are heavy hitters in the game. Jagger, who took the SLS Super Crown title back in 2021, keeps proving how versatile and consistent he is.
Rayssa, with multiple Super Crown wins under her belt, keeps setting the tone for the next generation with her smooth and fearless skating.
Frank Lamicella, the CEO of Street League Skateboarding, said Samsung’s been a solid partner since day one and that their support has helped make events bigger and better for skaters everywhere.
With this new deal, both sides are ready to keep building, growing, and giving back to the skate scene on a global scale.
