As we previously reported, pro skateboarder Nyjah Huston recently took a gnarly bail in the streets and is back in the hospital.
The accident left Nyjah with a fractured cheekbone and a lacerated kidney.
The impact was severe enough to knock him unconscious during the sesh, leading to another difficult recovery period for one of skateboarding's biggest names.
While fans and fellow skaters have been sending their support, professional boxer Jake Paul also reached out with a message that came from personal experience.
"Let me know if you need any tips on jaw healing," Jake wrote.
The message may have sounded lighthearted, but Jake has dealt with serious facial injuries himself.
After suffering a damaged jaw in a previous fight, he went through his own recovery process and became familiar with what comes with healing from that type of injury.
That experience is likely why he felt comfortable offering advice to Nyjah.
Recovering from a fractured jaw can be a long process that often involves dietary changes, limited movement, and regular medical checkups before everything returns to normal.
Nyjah appears focused on getting healthy and taking the necessary time away from skating but says that he will be back on board in no time.
Given the extent of the injuries, fans are simply happy to see him recovering and staying in good spirits.
Hopefully Nyjah's recovery continues to go well and he can get back on his board once doctors give him the green light.
