Hence, he got kicked off the team in 2015, didn't explain any reason, and just went to do his thing and skated.
Recently, Moose revealed his sudden departure from the Deathwish Skateboards camp. The release stemmed from a lack of harmony between Moose and some of his fellow riders, ultimately leading to an unfortunate parting of ways.
Things took a drastic turn when Erik Ellington, the company's co-founder, approached him, conveying the concerns of specific riders who claimed they were not getting along with Moose.
What made Moose's departure particularly perplexing was the absence of prior warnings or indications that his presence on the team was in jeopardy.
The 33-year-old expressed his disappointment with the lack of open communication and an opportunity to address the concerns raised by his fellow riders.
The sudden revelation blindsided him, disillusioning him about his place in Deathwish Skateboards.
Despite being a nice guy, he got the boot. He said that it was up to the company and didn't hold any grudge against the baker Boys, and moved on to work on himself to improve and keep the ball rolling.
