Emo skateboarding is making a comeback with a bang, thanks to Welcome Skateboards and My Chemical Romance.

The skate company and band have joined forces to create a limited edition skateboard deck that pays homage to the emo music scene of the early 2000s.

Welcome Skateboards has always been known for its unconventional and artistic approach to skateboard design. The brand is famous among skaters who appreciate unique graphics and shapes that stand out from the usual skateboard decks.

On the other hand, My Chemical Romance is a band synonymous with the emo music genre. Their music and style have influenced a generation of young people, and their reunion in 2019 after a six-year hiatus was met with widespread excitement.

The collaboration between Welcome Skateboards and My Chemical Romance is a perfect match. The skateboard deck features graphic incorporating elements from the band's album cover art and the skateboard brand's signature logo. The design features a black background with red and white accents, giving it a distinctly emo feel.

Skateboarding has always been an essential part of the emo music scene. Many emo bands, including My Chemical Romance, have influenced mall grabbers with their style.

Skate emo shares a rebellious spirit and a DIY mentality, making them a natural fit for each other. The Welcome Skateboards x My Chemical Romance collaboration celebrates this relationship and pays tribute to the emo culture that has influenced skateboarding and music.
