Skateboarding's most famous team manager Mike Sinclair has worn a lot of hats over the years.
He is not just a skate rat but he has worked behind the scenes in marketing for Tum Yeto, helped with Nike SB programs, and even spent time at ESPN.
His work has played a part in plenty of skate projects over the years.
Lately, core heads started wondering if Sinclair was no longer working with Nike and Tum Yeto.
But the good homie Cuban_Lynx asked him directly:
"Is there any truth to you cutting ties with Nike and Tum Yeto?"
Sinclair replied with a straightforward answer.
"Nike contrct wasn't extended. Did 10 years and had a blast but the people who hired me got let go about 5 years ago. Yeto is going but I only focus on Toy Machine planning Sept trip now. Slappy and other events I get hired to do are the other jobs. Lots of stuff planned for 27."
So while his time with Nike has come to an end after a decade, you already know that he is still the man with all these trades as a G.
Sinclair said his contract was simply not renewed, and he looks back on those ten years as a great experience.
As for Tum Yeto, he explained that his attention is now on Toy Machine, where he is planning the team's September trip.
Outside of that, he is staying busy with Slappy and other skate events that bring him in to help.
Sinclair also teased that he has plenty lined up for 2027, although he did not share any details just yet.
If his track record is anything to go by, there will likely be plenty of interesting projects on the way.
It's actually interesting to see what comes next as Sinclair continues working with Toy Machine, Slappy, and whatever else he has planned for the future.
