As we previously reported, pro skater Brandon Turner hosted his Switch Hardflip Day, inviting skaters to show off their best tricks.
Everyone submitted clips of their footy, but one skater stood out from the rest. Lucifer’s friend Mark Villero earned the win, impressing everyone with his mastery of the switch hardflip.
Villero has been skating this trick constantly, practicing in all kinds of conditions. Rainy afternoons, early mornings, barefoot on rough streets, he has been perfecting his craft every day.
His dedication and consistent effort in the contest paid off. Along with the title, Mark received a cash prize, a signed skateboard deck from Turner, and a special ring to commemorate his victory.
After the awards were handed out, Turner and Villero spent time skating together, showing off a series of switch hardflips and other mind-blowing tricks.
Skaters watching the clips could see how clean and precise their skating was, with every landing executed perfectly and every trick flowing naturally into the next.
Congratulations to Lucifer's friend for taking the top spot and giving core heads a reason to celebrate his skating.
