Skaters gotta peep this because Lucien Clarke just dropped his new pro shoe and it’s got a story behind it.
Clarke, who’s been killing it with Palace Skateboards, first got his name out riding for Louis Vuitton’s skate shoe line.
But after Virgil Abloh passed, LV’s skate program shut down and Clarke had to bounce.
With no home in the skate shoe game, DC Shoes came through and had his back.
They brought him in and let him keep doing his thing.
Now Clarke is giving love back with his new DC shoe that pulls from his old LV design. He calls it the “full circle” shoe, and you can tell it’s all about where he’s been and the brands that helped him get here.
Clarke hyped it up on social media with this post
“DROP 7 OUT NOW GLOBAL 0NES!!!!!!!
MY FIRST PRO SHOE FOR LV WAS ACTUALLY HEAVLY INSPIRED BY DC & AND MY SECOND PRO SHOE FOR DC WAS HEAVLY INSPIRED BY LV AS YOU CAN SEE. FULL CIRCLE ONES.

You can feel the respect in that post.
He’s giving props to Virgil, LV, and everyone who held him down. If you’ve been following Clarke, this shoe isn’t just a fresh pair to skate in.
It’s a peek at his grind, the back-and-forth between the brands, and how ideas move in the skate world.
Shops and online stores are already gearing up for the drop. If you’re a fan of Clarke, LV, or DC, you don’t wanna sleep on this one.
