Skater rapper Lil Wayne is keeping his skate life momentum strong.
After being handed his first pro board by legends Daewon Song and Torey Pudwill through Thank You Skate Co., a lot of folks figured it was a one-time thing.
But Wayne has stayed locked in. He didn’t just take the board and post about it. He’s been outside, hitting spots, linking with skaters, and actually skating.
Then came the music. His latest album Tha Carter VI took over Apple Music and hit number one, showing that his place in rap is still solid.
But instead of stepping away from skating to soak in the success, Weezy went right back to rolling through the streets, filming clips, and staying active.
Now, LooseLeaf has stepped in with a new signature deck for him.
Getting boards from two different companies shows Weezy's involvement in skating isn’t just for the cameras. He keeps showing up, keeps learning, and keeps progressing.
He’s not trying to be the best out there, but he’s doing what skaters respect most by putting in the time.
For someone who made his name on mixtapes and albums, and now regularly shows up in skate edits and sessions, this new board is more than a product drop. It’s another sign that Weezy's passion for skating is real.
