Rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., known as Lil Wayne or Lil Tunechi, officially turned professional skateboarder for Torey Pudwill's Thank You Skate Co. board company.

Lil Wayne's Instagram post didn't specify the board brand when he turned pro, but it shows the deck's Thank You Skate Co. logo.

The proclamation didn't provide any detailed explanation on the rapper's Instagram post and said, "THANK YOU GANG."

Lil Wayne's IG Story was also cut short when he was about to say something. His video also doesn't have audio, but it shows how happy he is when celebrating with his friends in Paul Rodrguez's private skate park.

Core skateboarders can skate a long time for a team and never get a pro deck. Some turn pro immediately, depending on their skill set or if the skater has a massive social media following.

Despite not having a sponsor, Lil Wayne has a massive fan base where he can sell boards and use his name since he is a famous rap artist.

While there were no high-profile skateboard companies that backed the Young Money Entertainment CEO, professional skateboarder Torey Pudwill gave a stamp of approval.
