Abner Pietro Crowned Champion at the 31st Annual Tampa AM 2025 After an Unstoppable Run

The crowd already knew he meant business before he even dropped in.

He started his run strong with a clean backside tailslide gap on the tail that immediately set the tone. Without missing a beat, he went straight into a wild combo with a backside feeble grind to kickflip out.

It was a little sketchy, but he held it together and rolled away clean, which got everyone fired up.

Not slowing down, Pietro headed back to the rail and threw down a backside bigspin to shuv-it out, followed by a kickflip frontside boardslide to ollie north out.

He did not fully finish that line the way he wanted, but he was not letting up. He moved to another section and linked a smooth kickflip backside 50-50, then circled back and nailed a huge backside 270 to lipslide down the rail.

By this point, the crowd was locked in.

Pietro added a back noseblunt stall on the coping, then hit the ledge for a slick kickflip backside crooked grind.

You could see him take a quick breather just long enough to reset before firing off a kickflip backside smith grind that looked risky but somehow worked out perfectly.

That kind of trick separated a good run from a winning one.

He was not done yet. Heading back to the first course, Pietro threw down a backside 360 ollie to bank, then hit the same spot again for a backside 50-50 to 360 ollie out.

With only seconds left, he gathered himself for the grand finish with a massive kickflip backside lipslide gap down the big rail that had the whole place going wild.

To top it off, he ended his run with a blunt stall to kickflip out, sealing the deal.

When he rolled away from that last trick, everyone knew what just happened.

The crowd rushed him, all the homies cheering, boards clapping, and it was clear Pietro had just locked in the win.

No arguments and no debates.
