Stereo Skateboards boss Chris Pastras has relocated from Goleta back to Los Angeles to take care of his late father’s property.
His dad passed away in 2025, leaving behind a small cottage tucked away at the end of an unpaved country road.
The property offers a stunning 360 degree view of Los Angeles, with the ocean visible on sunny days.
Pastras also shared that the place needs plenty of cleaning and work, but he appreciates its rustic setting.
He described his father as a creative artist who enjoyed playing his Fender Rhodes piano while taking in the city views.
He plans to share more updates as he works on the property.

"Hey ya’ll! 👋🏽 It’s been a minute. Relocated from Goleta 2 1/2 hours south back to LA, in part to deal with my Dad’s cottage/estate/property, a funky cottage at the end of a 2 mile stretch of unpaved county backroads. He passed in 2025 and left behind this small cottage on the edge of the universe with a breathtaking 360 view of LA. Its unreal! 🌇 On a clear day you can see all the way to the ocean. • There is a junk man working up here who’s taken over Dad’s cul-de-sac but he’s gotta go. Then there’s the clean up. 😵💫 But dig that view! • My dad was a creative hermit of sorts who just wanted to play his Fender Rhodes 🎹 and enjoy the epic view and the buzz of the city beneath him. He was a true renegade artist. • No street lights, no paved roads, no corner stores, no 7-11s, no Targets. His spot is full of rustic charm but it’s also truly rugged! Just like Pops! More to come…❤️✌🏽"
