As previously reported, Chris Gobber, a second-generation skateboard maker and local Arizona legend, has passed away due to a heart attack.

He was a devoted father, a skilled craftsman, and a central figure in the skateboarding community.

Chris ran AZ Laminates, handcrafting custom skateboards that were loved nationwide.

He also transformed his front yard into a public skatepark, hosting Friday night sessions for skaters of all ages.

His home and community became a place where fun, connection, and mentorship thrived.

Now his children, Jesse and Maggie, need support.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help pay off the family home and ensure they can stay in the place where their father built his legacy.

Every donation helps, and sharing the campaign spreads the word to all who were touched by Chris’s life.

Chris gave so much to his community, and now it is our turn to help his family. His boards, his skatepark, and the lives he inspired will continue to honor his memory.

Please donate now only if you can here.
