Skate legend Chris Cole has shared a heartfelt tribute to Andy Williams following the death of the AEW wrestler and Every Time I Die guitarist.
Williams collapsed during an Enjoy Wrestling show in Millvale, Pennsylvania, on September 5, 2026.
The rest of the event was canceled, and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office announced his death the following day.
Cole remembered Williams as a kind and generous person, sharing a few personal stories from their time together.
He said Williams would often tell him about skate videos that inspired certain guitar riffs he later wrote.
Cole also recalled picking Williams up and heading to their friend Biggie’s house for a quick workout.
He shared a photo of Williams with a dog taken after the session, joking that while Williams looked intimidating, the dog proved he was anything but.
“Andy was a phenomenal man,” Cole wrote. “So surprising, kind, and generous.”
Cole ended his message by saying he would miss his friend and wished him rest in peace.
Williams was 48.

I picked him up on one occasion and went to our friend biggies house so andy could workout “get a quick chest pump” as he said- this photo of him with the dog is from after that lift. He looked menacing and the dog showed he wasn’t. I’ll miss him. RIP Andy. ♥️"
