Professional skateboarder Sterre Meijer has had enough of people claiming she is an AI skater or that she only rides because it looks good on camera.
In a new YouTube vlog, Meijer visited some of her favorite spots and spent the day riding through the streets.
She also shared some playful booty moments with her loyal fans, but the comments surrounding her appearance have taken a different direction, with haters questioning her authenticity.

Haters gonna hate online and have questioned the authenticity of her content, while others have dismissed her as someone who cares more about aesthetics than actually training.
Meijer decided to address the criticism herself.
“I’ll admit it, I’m an aesthetic skater and my favorite kind of sessions are probably, like, the sunset sessions especially at this place,” she said.
There is nothing wrong with enjoying a good looking session, but Meijer said that this does not define how seriously she approaches skateboarding.
“But the comment or accusation ‘She skates for the aesthetic’ could not be more wrong.”
She then pointed to the scars and bruises covering her body.
“My body is covered in scars and bruises and what kind of person destroys their entire body for the aesthetic,” she said. “So yeah, I actually train and let me show you that.”
That is probably the simplest answer she could give to anyone questioning how much work goes into her riding.

The AI accusations are another matter.
With computer generated images and videos becoming increasingly common across social media, some core heads have become suspicious of content that looks highly polished.
Meijer responded by showing something that cannot be created by simply making a video look perfect.
Her bruises and scars are real, and so is the work behind her gnarly skating. The Gatekeeping King Weckingball never called her out for being an AI generated skateboarder, either.
