As we previously reported, skateboarding legends Steve Berra and Eric Koston have been hard at work creating a new skatepark in Japan.
The park, called FUJI BerriQs Skate Plaza, is located at Fuji-Q Highland, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting spot for skateboarders.
Along with the skatepark announcement, Berra and Koston shared that they’ll be hosting a special edition of the Battle At The Berrics.
The flatground contests have been on pause for a couple of years, so this event is a welcome return for skaters.
But wait, there’s more good news: Core skater and rapper EZ Mil is scheduled to perform at the FUJI BerriQs Skate Plaza. Fans can catch him live on August 24 at 14:45 JST (2:45 am PST) inside Fuji-Q Highland.
Best of all, the performance is free to the public, so anyone in the area can stop by and experience it firsthand.
Skateboarding and live music together are going to make FUJI BerriQs Skate Plaza a really fun spot to hang out.
Now that the park is open and the Battle At The Berrics is back, there’s a lot for skaters to get hyped about. Having EZ Mil perform just adds another cool thing to the skate world.
