It’s officially official that Dylan Jaeb is now riding for Quasi Skateboards after parting ways with Primitive Skateboarding.
Jaeb had been with Primitive for close to four years, but things never fully lined up in terms of a pro board release.
Even though he was already skating at a level that most people would consider pro, he never actually got officially elevated within the brand.
For a lot of core heads, that situation felt a bit off, especially given what he was putting down in clips and contest appearances.

One of the moments that really put his skating in front of a wider audience was his appearance in the Santa Monica Triple Set “BUST OR BAIL” with Thrasher Magazine.
In that session, he pulled up with a mix of heavy tricks, including frontside flips and a switch 360 flip NBD that got skaters stoked.
That part alone showed that he was skating at a level that stood out even among already established names.
After the split from Primitive became public, it did not take long for him to land on Quasi.
The announcement was simple and posted through Quasi Skateboards, saying “It’s mowing season.” Nothing overly detailed, just a short line that matched the brand’s low key way of doing things.v

Around the same time, Rose Street Skateshop shared details about his debut video premiere for Quasi.
The shop invited people to pull up on Saturday 4.18 from 6 to 8PM for the first showing of his welcome part for Quasi Skateboards.
The video is titled “JAEB DEBUT” and was filmed and edited by Jacob Palumbo. They also mentioned the video will play once it gets dark, likely after 7pm, and thanked a list of supporting names including Nike SB, Spitfire Wheels, Mob Grip, Independent Trucks, Bronson Speed Co, Nixon, and others tied to skateboarding support culture.

At this point, all eyes are on the premiere and how his first full release with Quasi Skateboards comes together, especially after the clips and moments he has already put out in the streets.
