As we previously reported, Fine Mess transgender guitarist Julia Pierce recently launched a GoFundMe to help cover her expenses while recovering from gender affirming surgery.
With the procedure approaching, Dustin Dollin shared a message for his wife, calling her brave, strong and courageous while letting her know he will be by her side.
Dollin wrote:
“My Brave wife love you so strong and courageous ..you got this I’ll be there xxdd sincerely your husband Dustin”
Pierce replied:
“lucky wifey luv ya dusty.”
Pierce previously explained that she recently returned from a long tour and was already dealing with debt.
Since she will be unable to work during recovery, she is raising money to help cover a sublet and everyday living expenses.
She has also encouraged people who cannot donate to share the fundraiser with others.
The couple’s exchange comes as Pierce prepares for her upcoming procedure, with Dollin publicly offering his support as she gets ready for the weeks ahead.
