Dylan Jaeb is officially pro and the timing could not have worked out better for him.
Not long after joining Quasi Skateboards, he has already been moved up to the pro ranks, something that had been building for years but never quite happened during his previous run on Primitive.
Before this, Jaeb spent close to four years riding for Paul Rodriguez's Primitive brand. During that time, he consistently put out strong footage and stayed active, but the pro title never came.

For a lot of skaters, that kind of situation eventually leads to some hard decisions, and it seems like Jaeb reached that point.
Staying loyal versus finding a better opportunity is always a tough call, especially when the next step in your career feels just out of reach.
His exit from Primitive got skaters doubting.
Jaeb had built a solid following there, so seeing him leave was looking for something more. When Quasi announced that he had joined the team, the reaction across the skate scene was immediate.

What stands out here is how quickly everything came together.
Usually, getting on a new team means spending a good amount of time proving yourself all over again. In Jaeb’s case, it looks like Quasi already knew what they had.
Instead of waiting years, they made the call early and gave him the pro status he had been chasing.
There are also a few details from his time at Primitive that make this feel even more fitting. He never landed a Thrasher cover while he was there, something many skaters see as a big career opportunity.

While that does not define everything, it adds context to why a fresh start made sense. A new team can open different doors, and for Jaeb, this could be exactly what he needed.
Sources close to ShreddER have been hinting that this promotion was not random. It was something that had been discussed and expected once he officially joined Quasi.
That kind of backing from a brand says a lot. It shows they are willing to invest in him and build around his name moving forward.
With pro status secured, Jaeb has the platform he has been working toward for years. More video parts, potential signature products, and bigger opportunities are all on the table.
This is also a strong move for Quasi.
Bringing in someone like Jaeb and giving him that role right away helps keep their lineup fresh and relevant.
All things considered, this benefits everyone involved. Jaeb gets the recognition he has been after, and Quasi gains a rider who is ready to carry more weight for the brand. Sometimes a change of scenery is all it takes for things to finally click.
Congrats to Dylan Jaeb and Quasi Skateboards.
