Singleton explained that he had already stopped drinking back in March 2020, but being completely sober again has been something he had not experienced since he was 15 years old.

He described this period as one of the most steady stretches he has had in a long time and said he is grateful to be in a better place today.

He gave thanks to Brandon Turner and the staff at West Side Recovery for staying by his side throughout the process.

He also mentioned how much it meant to him to have support from skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who has been encouraging him along the way and showing up as a steady presence during this time.

A personal part of his message was dedicated to his father, Pastor Robert LeCount Sr. Singleton shared that his father was there when he needed support the most and never gave up on him.

He said keeping his promise to his father played a big role in getting him through this stage of his life.

He also spoke about giving his father a token that holds meaning for their relationship, especially since his father had kept many of his skateboards over the years.

Singleton closed his message by reflecting on reaching 33 days sober and expressing gratitude for the support he continues to receive from people around him.

"although I quit drinking in March 2020.. for those who dont know- a little over a month ago, I checked myself into @thewestrecovery.

I’m now 30(actually, 33) days clean & completely sober. something I haven’t been since 15yrs old.

thank you to homie @bturner_ & the amazing staff at @thewestrecovery,
who has been right there the entire way. major shoutout to @tonyhawk, who’s also been nothing but supportive through this journey, and the big homie we all need in life.

this token, is for my Father: Pastor Robert LeCount Sr., who was right there when I needed him the most. I kept my promise Pops. You never gave up on me, and that has given me the strength to make this huge step in life.

You kept almost all my skateboards, and I want you to have this token. It would mean the world, and know I Love you & Mom to death.

They say the first 30 is the hardest. Lord willin, I made it yall.. I did that.

here’s to many more, and thank you all for your continued support.❤️💪🏾

It’s the mighty, mighty @wcrponskateboarding
