The news immediately got OG skate heads hyped, especially those who grew up watching Cliché videos and skating the brand's boards during its heyday.
Now the comeback is becoming a reality with the reissue of JB Gillet's pro model, the "Heritage Drop + Crème Brûlée" graphic from 2004.
For many skateboarders, JB Gillet remains one of the most respected names to come out of Europe, and seeing one of his signature boards return is a welcome sight.
The announcement has already caught the attention of plenty of skateboarders who remember what Cliché brought to skateboarding over the years.
The company built a loyal following through its videos, team riders, and distinctive art direction, making it one of the most recognizable brands of its era.
While details about future plans are still limited, the return of a pro model reissue has many wondering what could be next.
Core heads are already hoping for fresh footage, team updates, or even a full length video project.
Others are simply happy to see the brand's name back in circulation after such a long absence.
The JB Gillet "Heritage Drop + Crème Brûlée" reissue is scheduled to be released in July 2026. Until then, skateboarders will be keeping a close eye on what Cliché has planned as the company begins its next chapter.
