OG pro skateboarder Tyrone “T‑Bone” Olson has added his voice to a growing outcry against federal immigration enforcement after Thrasher Magazine publicly criticized President Trump’s administration and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, saying “F*CK ICE” as part of a protest against the recent escalation of ICE actions.

Thrasher’s statement came after intense national reaction to a recent ICE operation in Minneapolis where a 37-year-old ICU nurse, Alex Pretti, was shot and killed by federal agents while protests were happening.
Officials said he was armed, but bystander footage appears to show him trying to help others before he was pepper-sprayed, pushed to the ground, and shot.
Skate culture and street culture often overlap, and T‑Bone’s support comes out of that environment.
T‑Bone backed up Thrasher and Brooklyn Projects’s public stance, aligning with the magazine’s criticism of how ICE and the federal government are handling immigration enforcement.

Pretti’s death sparked heated debate. Protests broke out in Minneapolis, and local officials weighed in on the heavy presence of federal agents.
City leaders and others are calling for investigations and questioning the deployment of hundreds of agents in the area, saying it has increased tensions and created fear in many communities.
For many people who have seen the bystander videos and heard what went down, something is not right with how these ICE operations happen.
People are calling out the extreme amount of force, saying it is way over the line and making neighborhoods feel like war zones instead of streets where people can live their lives.
Pretti’s family has publicly disputed official narratives, arguing he posed no threat and was trying to help people when he was killed.
